Europatat welcomes its new Associated Member, the Swedish potato growers association Potatisodlarna.
Potatisodlarna holds not only growers as members, but also packers, traders and exporters. They all have in common that the quality and health of the potato crop is fundamental to their business.
Sweden deregulated the agricultural markets in 1994, joined the European Union in 1995 and the need for adaption has today become a daily routine. The association was originally the association for the southern part of Sweden but became national in 2015. The purpose of the association is to support the members in providing a sustainable potato production and trade in a world which requires constant adaption.
