On 1 October 2024, the potato sector will meet at Hotel Hafen Hamburg (Seewartenstr. 9, 20459 Hamburg) for the 71st Internationale Kartoffel-Herbstbörse upon invitation of the German Potato Trade Association.

The Kartoffel-Herbstbörse serves as a platform for professional dialogue. After a year of unusual weather conditions, expectations for the 2024/2025 marketing season will provide plenty to talk about. The get-together will be accompanied by presentations from companies from all stages of the value chain.

Moreover, Dr Christoph Endres, computer scientist and AI researcher, will give a keynote speech on the increasing importance of cybersecurity in the digitalised supply chain and trading process. The presentation will offer insights into typical threats that can affect the potato trade and provide practical tips for securing sensitive data and systems.
