Europatat is currently seeking a Freelance Data Manager to strengthen its Brussels-based team and support its work on data analysis and evidence-based advocacy for the European potato sector.
The selected candidate will be responsible for collecting, managing, analysing and presenting data related to potato trade, production, consumption, sustainability and other sector-relevant topics. The role includes monitoring EU and international statistics (e.g. Eurostat, FAO, Comext), liaising with Europatat members and partners, analysing market and policy trends, and preparing statistical inputs for reports, infographics and communications addressed to members and policymakers.
The Data Manager will also contribute to the maintenance and further development of Europatat’s internal databases and data management tools, ensuring accuracy, consistency and accessibility of data across projects.
