Europatat has joined a broad coalition of leading EU agri-food organisations in signing a Joint Statement calling on the European Commission to present an ambitious simplification agenda that secures the future and competitiveness of the entire agri-food chain.
The statement highlights the urgent need to reduce administrative and regulatory burdens, modernise outdated rules and enable innovation and investment across all sectors, from farming to food processing and trade.
Together with over 25 associations, Europatat supports this united call for practical, cross-cutting legislative simplification that truly reflects the realities of operators on the ground and strengthens Europe’s food security and resilience.
