Europatat is pleased to welcome the Polska Federacja Ziemniaka (the Polish Potato Federation) as a new associated member.
The Federation was established in 2019 to integrate the Polish potato industry, as well as to represent it both locally and globally. With more than 1500 members classified in ordinary, extraordinary, supporting and honorary members, the Polish Potato Federation is currently working on increasing the quality and efficiency of the national potato production, which directly contributes to the competitiveness of the Polish potato on local and global markets.
The Polish Potato Federation also participates in the organisation of several potato industry events, such as Potato Poland, one of the largest international agricultural events not only in Poland, but also in Central and Eastern Europe. For three days, distinguished speakers and guests from all around the world participate in the event, which brings together the entire potato industry. Under the slogan FULL POTATO POWER, Potato Poland is this year taking place from 21 to 23 August in Lubków, in the Lower Silesian region.
