Europatat is pleased to welcome GPK Agrohellas as a new full member and, importantly, our first-ever member from Greece. Specialising in seed potatoes since 1999, the company imports and distributes high-quality certified seed potatoes to the Greek market, primarily from the Netherlands and France, as well as from Cyprus, Belgium and Germany.
Through long-standing partnerships with selected international suppliers and breeders, the company closely follows the production and quality of its seed potatoes, ensuring that growers receive reliable planting material suited to their needs and local growing conditions.
For more than two decades, GPK Agrohellas has also worked with its international partners to test and introduce new potato varieties to the Greek market. Its portfolio covers varieties for different growing seasons and market segments, including table potatoes, French fries and crisps, with particular attention to productivity, disease resistance and resilience to challenging climatic conditions.
Beyond variety selection, GPK Agrohellas places strong emphasis on logistics and the proper handling, transport and storage of seed potatoes to preserve their quality until planting. Combining technical expertise, a broad varietal portfolio and long-term partnerships, the company supports Greek growers in responding to the evolving needs of the potato market.
